Dear Cocci Study Group Member,
This letter is a call for papers for all presenters for the 7th International Coccidioidomycosis Symposium to be held at Stanford University, Palo Alto, CA, on August 10-13, 2017. Updates regarding Registration, Hotel, Restaurant, Travel Grants, Banquet and other information may be found at the coccistudygroup.com web site. Please check every 1-2 weeks.
All abstract submissions will be presented in poster format at the meeting. The process of abstract submission, review and approval will be the same as last year.
Abstracts may be sent to firstname.lastname@example.org for the main scientific session before June 30, 2017. This includes original research and interesting clinical case presentations. Abstracts will be forwarded to the Program Committee for review. All appropriate abstracts will be presented as posters at the meeting. You will receive a response regarding a decision for presentation at the meeting around June 30, 2017. Posters will be presented over two days by category of topics on August 11 and on August 12. Details about date/time of display and poster formatting will come in early July. All presenters must be registered to attend the 7th International Coccidioidomycosis Symposium at Stanford University Medical School.
All abstracts must be in Times New Roman, 12 font, single-spaced to fill one page (approximately 350 words). Title (in capitals) and Subheadings (bolded) are required for all scientific abstracts as follows: Introduction, Methods, Results and Conclusions. Tables, graphs, and illustrations will be considered (in moderation) in addition to the half-page of text at the Program Committee’s discretion. Interesting Clinical Case abstracts subheadings are to include: Introduction, Case findings, Clinical Course, Outcome and Conclusions on one page. The authors must be listed by last name first without academic initials (i.e. no M.D., Ph.D., etc.). The presenter’s name must be underlined. Author addresses need to be simplified without street details, please. Do not submit abstracts in the pdf format. Publication and National Library of Medicine cataloguing are under consideration.
